Raydell a écrit :Well, European trucks look this way due to EU regulations limiting the length of truck + trailer. The same way we have some rather unique looking trucks, such as the Renault Magnum Īnd the even more unique looking Mercedes-Benz Econic Your Kenworth for example has more "sharp" edges on cabin, which is a look that I like, and is why I like the Kenworth brand and can recognize it. (All that was just to make sure that there were no misunderstanding)īeyond trucks from the same brand, I can understand that to a non Euro guy can have a hard time seeing the diffrence from a MAN TGX and a Mercedes-Benz Actros, or maybe Iveco Stralis and the Renault Premium, for the same reason many American trucks looks the same to me.Īnd even then, there is trucks that stand out from the rest. But then the more expensive truck (Which can look exactly the same as another of the same brand) will have some upgrades on purchase, such as a more powerful engine. When looking in a dealership there is a few trucks put for show, and they all have diffrent level requirements and pricetags. This is because with the exception of Renault, the brands only had 1 truck model made into the vanilla game, and that is where some of the confusion may have come.īut even the same truck type can look diffrent from one another, thanks to some customizing in the cabin, etc. Well yes, it is true that all the trucks in a showroom looks very similar, and that is because they are the same truck. I love the game and am not putting it down.just explaining how it looks from a US player scratching his head at what appears to be 1000 versions of the same looking truck. You Euro guys probably see something I cannot see and the roles will be reversed if they release a US road version. The 90K level 1 truck is a short haul no frills truck like this: The level 25 200k that visually is night and day different truck which would be a carrot on the stick would be: Take that same thought process and think about a American version. I want to grind miles to get that!" The $200k level 25 truck looks like the 90k level 1 truck to my brain. I cannot find a truck that I see at a dealership and go "OMG, that's my carrot on the stick.

I figured those differences were there but my untrained eye just cannot find them.

When I look at the dealerships in the game I see no brand differences short of logo. When I think of American trucks I can quickly see the obvious differences between Mac, Peterbilt, Volvo, Freightliner, etc and can name them by appearance alone. As a European guy you see the differences where I do not.
